Are you ready to explore new horizons?
Lots of us would like to retire early – but that doesn't mean we want to give up work. |

Retirement at 65 is ridiculous. When I was 65 I still had pimples.

We could at last become our own boss, maybe put something back into the community, or perhaps work part-time. Even if we want to continue earning, we might not need the same level of income, so suddenly there are all sorts of new opportunities. Now is the time to do what we've always wanted to do, but never had the time for.
Time do what you enjoy
On average British workers retire at 63.8 for men and 61.6 for women (source: Turner's Pensions Commission ) and although this is predicted to rise, most of us will have 20 years ahead of us when we do retire. You can live a LOT of life in that time.
Choice can mean stress
It can, however, be a very stressful time, as we've suddenly got lots of choice. To avoid being completely overwhelmed by all the things you could do, it's a good idea to plan for your retirement career.
Retirement Career Coaching is a great way to start thinking about your retirement, and making sure you'll really enjoy those new horizons. |
